Famous Saudi Arabian's Women

She is Rajaa Alsanea It's a 25 years old writer and the author of Girls of  riyadh , a novel that is based on the women Arabic's world.
In Rajaa Alsanea 's own words ...…”It’s my obligation to try to fix things in Saudi. I’m not trying to fix the government or Islam. What I’m trying to fix is mentality, how people think. It’s the traditions,” she said. “These traditions either [need to] loosen up, or we should get rid of them.” ( Rajaa Alsanea , Girls Of Riyadh , 2010 ).


She is Aseel Omran , a very famous singer in Saudi Arabia. She is in her sweet twenties and it's also married with a Saudi Arabian celebrity  Khaled Bahraini.

Traditional saudi arabian women dress

Abaya


In the picture you can observate the traditional dress for women , it's compossed by the Abaya, that's the name given to the robe worn by them. This piece of clothe covers the entire body , except the hand , feet and  face. The boshiya , is the name given for the part that covers the lower part of the face.
This concept has a cultural meaning among the saudi arabians. In fact; it seems that , for saudi arabian's women, is not a problem at all the use of this type of clothes, due to this is seen as a traditional value, so as a concecuence they are quite respectful with their social beliefs.

Saudi arabian woman prohibitions

Due to their religion their rights are severly restricted, and these are the most relevantprohibitions.
1-.They are banned from driving in public roads (They are allowed to drive off-road and inside house compounds).
2-. They are not allowed to travel without the permission  of their closest relative male (son, younger brother, etc).
3.-They are required to wear an “Abaya” or modest clothing in public.
4.-They are not allowed to vote.
5.- Their inheritance must be less than that of their male siblings.
6.-  They can’t marry non-saudi males without government permission.
7.- They are forbidden to drive bicycles in the 20th century.
8.- They are not allowed to go to a hospital without their husbands.
9.- According to their religion they must cover their bodies in public.

Social role of Saudi Arabian’s woman

 In a global point of view, Saudi Arabian’s women have a really tough reality inside the society of this country. They have no rights at all, also They have no opinion so ever about any discussion inside Arabian’s culture. They have to live with the stereotype of the submissive human being; that is also an uneducated individual with no opportunities to grow up as a person, but inside this country, the reality  of these opinions are not so tough as we thought.
According to the Holy Qur’an, women have economic and social rights indeed. To begin with, the holy Qur’an allows woman to inherit or acquire properties and take control of them by themselves without the commitment of give part of it to their husbands after married.
Islam states that woman have to enjoy their position as a main part of a family, due to this is one of the most important roles of Saudi Arabia’s  female population. Another important point about Islam would be the fact that woman have to enjoy of having a modestly behavior in public areas, But with the development of Arabia Saudi’s Kingdom nowadays, the woman’s role is so much more that just home-making issues. In 1960 the government of this country established the introduction of a national education programs for women. In 1970 more than the fifty percent of Saudi Arabian’s women were attending different schools. To 1975, all Saudi Arabian’s girls have the chance to receive education.
