Social role of Saudi Arabian’s woman

arab school girls

In a global point of view, Saudi Arabian’s women have a really tough reality inside the society of this country. They have no rights at all, also They have no opinion so ever about any discussion inside Arabian’s culture. They have to live with the stereotype of the submissive human being; that is also an uneducated individual with no opportunities to grow up as a person, but inside this country, the reality  of these opinions are not so tough as we thought.
According to the Holy Qur’an, women have economic and social rights indeed. To begin with, the holy Qur’an allows woman to inherit or acquire properties and take control of them by themselves without the commitment of give part of it to their husbands after married.
Islam states that woman have to enjoy their position as a main part of a family, due to this is one of the most important roles of Saudi Arabia’s  female population. Another important point about Islam would be the fact that woman have to enjoy of having a modestly behavior in public areas, But with the development of Arabia Saudi’s Kingdom nowadays, the woman’s role is so much more that just home-making issues. In 1960 the government of this country established the introduction of a national education programs for women. In 1970 more than the fifty percent of Saudi Arabian’s women were attending different schools. To 1975, all Saudi Arabian’s girls have the chance to receive education.

  3. At least women in this country can have education. About their way they dress is chosen by them because of their beliefs, and it’s not something that the society imposes them(at least). About their rights, I don’t think I can say that much, because if they are not able to grow up as persons, I don’t think that the rights they have are well called “rights”.

  11. I think this kind of rights are completely worthless, because they do not encourage the true value of women. Women can think as same as us. they deserve a better life.

  13. I think we should separate the religious thing from the women's rigths. We can not change the way women are dressed because it is a religious matter just as some people believe in god. I mean at least they are people of principles. Now, I don't think the women's rights are that bad if I compare them with other countries and in the educational field, this is progressing.

  19. This is the only culture I know for its strict behaviour with women, they can do anything, only serve her husband and be respectful with him. This culture is badly wrong, men shouldn´t treat them so, and for what women do they deserve at least al little of respect.

They have no rights at all; they alsohave no opinion so ever about any discussion inside Arabian’s culture.I think they are the most unfortunate in terms of the laws of their country, the struggle to change the mentality of this has been long and extense, almost an impossible task.
